Snorkelling, hiking, dangling from ropes…

DISLIKES;
Odd socks, washing up, the jelly in Pork Pies!

EXPERIENCE;
I have spent 10 years working in the emergency services in the south west. I have a background in training diverse groups, with varying experience levels and skill sets.
One of my specialities is dealing with medical situations in challenging and inhospitable environments.

MOTIVATION;
Instilling confidence in my students will prepare them to deal with any medical emergency that they may experience in day to day life. The positive impact that the training I get to deliver, will have on people, is my main motivation within this role.

LIKES;
Singing, water skiing, pizza, huge ice creams.

DISLIKES;
Small ice creams, unkindness.

EXPERIENCE;
I have had the privilege of working and volunteering in a variety of industries that I care passionately about. In each of my roles I gravitated towards teaching and mentoring others. My career as a professional singer/songwriter led me to teaching children and adults to sing which has been incredibly rewarding. Most recently, my role in the emergency services has enabled me, not only to develop my own medical skills in complex emergencies, but to get involved in teaching other responders how to provide the best care to patients.

MOTIVATION;
Having the confidence and courage to stop and help if someone is i need is very important to me. I love the fact that teaching first aid will empower more people to help others and perhaps even save lives.
